Artist Agent Gwenda Joyce, will speak at a special SCWCA Workshop entitled "Turning Contacts into Clients." In this session, she focuses on building an art career by narrowing down the field of buyers to understand your audience. This talk will be helpful for the artist in approaching galleries, holding open studios and even making casual contacts. Presentation includes time for Q and A and to visit with artist Linda Kunik in her studio.

SCWCA tour and artist's talk on Saturday, October 3rd, 2009 to welcome Galerie Anaïs at Bergamot Station.

Galerie Anaïs at Bergamot Station in Santa Monica features emerging and mid-career local artists. The debut show "Lost Horizons" features new works by Los Angeles painter Merion Estes. The exhibition is accompanied by a catalogue with an essay by Betty Ann Brown.
